Sat Apr 02 - Sun Apr 03 ITINERARY Sat 02 Apr HW Conyer 5.9 14:29 Conyer to Stangate Creek via Kingsferry Bridge or around Sheppey by choice. Fall-back arrangement in event of bad weather - raft-up on grey visitor's mooring bouys at Queenborough - these will booked for overnight if required. Queenborough VHF 08 call sign 'sheppey1' For those transiting Kingsferry Bridge 'True Colours' will be departing Conyer at approx 14:00 transiting the bridge on the 15:40 or 16:10 bridge lift, 'True Colours' will report for any accompanying boats on VHF10 when approx 20 minutes off. If you wish to transit earlier or later bridge lifts are scheduled for 10 minutes and 40 minutes past each hour subject to train movements. All boats should monitor VHF10 during transit and for comms with the bridge. For rafting-up the biggest boats with power windlasses and good ground tackle should take the strain. Skipper's judgement to decide how many boats to accept alongside and how much cable to lay. Guideline 3 boats to a raft is prudent with minimum 3 x HW depth of water.
